This work reflects an attempt to better understand the role of technology within daily life, employing the use of a public portal to identify a group of individuals within a community. These individuals are categorized as registered sex offenders within the Douglas County jurisdiction. An online database identifies each person by name or alias, photograph, convictions, and a red dot marks their current place of residency on a map for the duration of their sentence.
